Who is MAC?
Mariemont Aquatic Club (MAC) is a seasonal, competitive swim team operating under the USA Swimming (USA) rules and regulations. As member of USA Swimming, team members have the opportunity to participate in selected USA competitions throughout the winter season, concluding with the State Championships in March. We stress quality coaching, flexible schedules, and a very competitive cost.

State Time Standards for the 2009 Season [42 KB PDF]
These time standards are needed for the State Meet at the end of the season. Last year MAC had 12 swimmers achieve State Times, and we placed 16th in the State in the large team division. The times that are in bold print are times changed from last years' times. Please print this list out, so that you have these new times at meets. (This past weekend at Silverlake, the Clippers had last year's times printed in the heat sheet by mistake.) Krista will also laminate copies to give to the coaches and to post in the pool area.

Great job to those swimmers who swam in the Clippers' Meet this past weekend. MAC had quite a few L.T.B.s (Life Time Bests)!

Red Group girls begin wearing tights under their swimsuits on every Monday and Wednesday practice; the gentlemen in the Red Group can wear cargo shorts over their suits instead of tights.
